Many years ago, an accidental discovery of programs by which an image could be manipulated with an instant click of a button opened my mind to the endless possibilities of design. Since then, I have learned that design is far more extensive than photo manipulation, but rather it is about conveying ideas visually, and it is this which keeps me fascinated.

I am fascinated by the possibilities of the analog world. We live in an age that thrives on technology and consequently we forget about the opportunities that the analog world offers. In design, when the analog world is well integrated with the available technology, the results are more "real" and the product resonates with the intended audience more.

I have recently completed my degree in the York University/Sheridan Institute Joint Program in Design (BDes) in Toronto, ON. As an aspiring designer, I wish to build a career that allows me to build upon the knowledge and skills that I have received in my formal education. I wish to focus my career within the multimedia stream of design because when used effectively, animation, audio and video can bring information to life, and the process of creating that product is exciting.
